Hi there. My name is Daniella Di Mambro and I've been an IELTS teacher for over 17 years. I am also a former IELTS Examiner and really enjoy helping students prepare to achieve their desired score in the test and training teachers in teaching IELTS. I have worked with British Council IELTS across the globe, both as an IELTS materials writer and as an IELTS teacher trainer. You may have heard my voice in the various British Council IELTS expert webinars over the last few years. My work in teacher training also extends to delivering CELTA, the Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, for Cambridge English which is the most widely recognised English teaching qualification in the world.

Hi everyone, I'm Marijana Petrovic and I am an IELTS teacher trainer with over 20 years of experience in teaching, teacher training and test development. I have worked with the British Council across the world, as a teacher trainer and materials developer. I am also a certified Cambridge examiner, and hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Language Testing from the University of Lancaster. My background in language testing has enabled me to lead the team who worked on developing language tests according to NATO standards and to train test developers in the Croatian National Secondary School Leaving Examination project. 

I’m thrilled to work alongside my experienced IELTS colleagues as part of Team IELTS, providing tailored support for both students and teachers, empowering them to achieve their full potential. 

Hello, my name’s Sarah Philpot and I have been an IELTS teacher and IELTS teacher trainer for more than 20 years. In that time, I have worked for the British Council in the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Palestine, Cyprus and Paris, France. I have also worked for other educational institutions such as the Ateneo University in Manila and the University of London in Paris (ULIP).

I have also published a number of books for students who need academic English and study skills Check out the Headway Academic Skills series from Oxford University Press (OUP).
